Whenever I can I hang out at our local beach(Metrobeach Metropark, on lovely Lake St. Clair). Been getting in as much swimming as possible before it gets too cold. The water here is still warm even though air is lil bit cold. Love to drift in the water and watch the windsurfers, and lately been fascinated by kiteboarders. It looks so much fun skimming over the water being pulled by the wind. Had to go over to one of the gentlemen and we chatted for awhile.  Any one on the forum into this at all. Sounds like a package-the kite and board will run me close to a grand if not more. There goes the money for my new OM-03 or parlor. Told me it would be a good idea to take a lesson if interested. Guess this can be a almost year round sport, can use them on snow, or lakes when frozen. The gentlemean I talked to actuaaly built or modified his own board from instructions on the internet. Might have to check into it. Its funny always been drawn to the water ever since a child. My dream has been to try surfng and this seems to be as close as i may get living in Michigan. Appreciate any info if anybody into it.  Thanks Patrick
