Never heard a review quite like this. The playing begins at 6.10. Its all quite good.

That's a really good review with nice playing at the end. He made several key points that Larrivee aficionados will recognize (and non-aficionados will learn about). Guitars sounds lovely, too. Thanks for posting  :thumb

He really is an incredible player.  didn't realize he owned Larrivees.  Very nice and thanks for sharing.

Very cool review.  His playing is wonderful.

I don't make it through a lot of reviews because it seems like most of them are the same old playing: either the same bluegrass licks, or that unendurable (to me at least) palm-slap-mute thing so many people are doing now with their right hand.  But this guy's playing is unique.

The Larrivee clarity was on display here, which has always been one of my favorite things about their guitars.

The only thing he said that I don't agree with was (early on in the review) something about Larrivee's quality going up with the move to California. The quality has been there all along.

Sure is! I couldn't help but notice he had a soundhole pickup and if it was blended into the mix for his recording.

As beautiful as it sounds, no doubt about it, it demonstrates my particular beef with any guitar body larger than the OOs I enjoy. The L body bass and midrange seem to overwhelm the melody notes he's picking out. All to personal taste of course . . .
