Hi there... new to this amazing board and I'm looking for your advice... I have a 2004 L-09 Collectors Edition... I purchased new... very lightly played, it really is like new and my question is what price should I be asking and what is the best website to list it on? Thanking you in advance for any feedback and suggestions you may have. TX / Ron

Welcome to the forum Ron, pricing your guitar has a lot to do with where on this globe you might call home.

Has it been properly humidified, stored, etc.

I'm sure it's a nice guitar, it has Larrivée on it.

You might look at Reverb and Ebay comparisons, as well as local market advertising, I saw 1 on Reverb for waaaay more than I purchased my L-10 for.

If I understand pricing a *used* guitar correctly you might get 40-60% of what you paid for it, it really comes down to how badly someone wants it for *top dollar*.

P.S. I think there's a law against selling a Larrivée  :humour:

And *others*

After a quick search, I've seen a few between $3.8-4.9K. All claiming rare woods (and in impeccable shape), like this one: https://reverb.com/item/78908561-2009-larrivee-l-09-custom-koa-from-the-vault-super-rare

I don't keep up with L-bodies, but that seems high to me. A little digging might help you decide where you wanna land on price. But two things I can offer you: 1) Larrivee's are typically undervalued on the used market (great for buyers, not so for sellers) and 2) the market as a whole is VERY soft right now.

Best of luck with it, and welcome to the forum!   :donut2  :coffee
