It is a short video, hopefully there will be a bunch of them.

Thanks for posting!  Someone commented, "I hope there are a hundred of these videos!", and Nick at Tune Up replied:

"Probably not 100, but there will be quite a few. After two days of filming I walked away with 600 gigabytes of footage .

Great footage.  I've hoped to make it out there for a tour, but it's quite a leap from Texas.  Me and my son both play Larrivees and did the NazPenn tour a few years ago.  We have always wanted to do the Larrivee tour together too.

I really like how they have the wood outside just drying in the sun and wind.  Very low-tech and old-school.  It was also good to hear Matthew talk about being the GM, what his brother, sister, and mother do in the company, etc.  It was unclear (to me at least) in the recent Alamo interviews.  I really love family-run companies.

For some reason, a peek behind the curtain makes me love being on the Larrivee team even more.

Nick, thanks for your efforts. That is a nice video.

During our factory visit in June 2024, Matt showed my son and me the pallets of rosewood drying in the parking lot next to the building. Holding my hand out, I could actually feel the Santa Ana winds blowing across the boards. We either flew over or drove across three time zones and 12 states to visit Oxnard. It was well worth the effort. The thought process and science that the Larrivee family has incorporated into their wood selection and preparation is for all of us to benefit from and enjoy.

As great as the interview is, I'm going to directly blame this interview on further delaying the Forum VII build!!  :humour:

I personally believe this family has managed to find a way to clone themselves. I honestly don't know if or when they take a break or sleep.

This morning, I spent time with my Baker T Pro. When I get back from my two hour bike ride, I'll alternate between my 00 and Forum VI. FWIW, Looking back to 2021 (FVI) and 2024 (00-24), the waiting time for both guitars are fading memories.

Thanks for sharing!
