Finger Style - String Height

I'm curious what string height other fingerstyle (bare finger) players target.  When I got my OMV-09 the neck was perfectly straight but the strings were crazy high at both the neck and bridge.  I can understand why Larrivee would do that but with every string change I've been gradually taking out a little bit of the saddle. I think I have the nut where I want it.  I'm targeting a low E at about 020 at the 1st fret and 065-070 at the 12th.  Those numbers seem pretty conservative to me.  My Martin OOO-28 is significantly lower that on both ends without any buzz (again , bare fingers even when strumming).  Also wondering what(if any) effect Larrivee's Godzilla sized frets have.  BTW - no electronics to worry about.

Comments more than welcome!

thanks in advance

I measure with the first fret depressed and I am usually shooting for around 2/32 on the treble and 3/32 on the bass. Often higher, sometimes lower, really depends on the guitar and what strings I'm using. I might let the bass sit a little higher as it only takes a tint bit of buzz on a bass string to kill sustain and, with the type of fingerstyle I play, sustaining bass notes are critical.
I used to always lower stock action but, these days, I will often make myself a new saddle with slightly higher action.

Fret size shouldn't matter much as the action height is unrelated to fret height. Fret height matters more when it comes to bending as that's when the finger contact with the board is more likely to affect feel.
