Keep the faith, fellow forum buyers! I'm sure that there were important business and family obligations this week, and there may not have been enough time to get new pictures up. Just remember: the fact that there are new pictures coming means that progress is being made, and those sweet guitars will be in our hands soon enough! - and we will still have to wait 24 hours for the boxes to get up to room temperature once they arrive...

Those figured tops are amazing!  I surely hope you guys will consider doing some sample videos when you get these guitars in-hand.  I'd love to hear how they sound.

Oh boy!  Oh boy!  Oh boy!  They look fantastic - all three sides.

Have to ask.  While it is likely just the lighting for the photos, they look like they are gloss.  And maybe it's just the stage of finishing that they are in.  But I thought they would be satin finish?  Also, it looks like there are 'holes' in the fretboard for markers?  [little do I know about building a guitar]

Many thanks for posting the photos.  [Although now I'm even more anxious to have mine here.]

The finish is same as the F-VI at this point. They will end up satin.
The holes are tooling holes at 3rd and 14th frets. They are normally filled with fret markers, but you will be able to see them on finished F-VI and F-VII necks if you look really close.

Wow. Absolutely beautiful! (I am certain the Walnut ones are as well...) Love the JCL headstock. Thanks for this John!

Thanks for chiming in, Mike.

If I look really closely, with just the right light, at my FVI I can see the marker on the 3rd and 15th frets.  Who knew!

GORGEOUS!!!!!  :thumbsup   That gloss looks so beautiful, it will be tempting to try to buff out the finish a bit. The headstocks looks amazing, and there appears to me some lovely figuring in the veneer wood.

There are seven fortunate Forum VII owners who have an amazing guitar heading their way. Your patience and perseverance will be rewarded when your new guitar shows up at your front door. Here are a couple of suggestions to help make this experience last a lifetime:

1) Remember to resist your natural temptation to open the box until it has had time to acclimate to its permanent home.

2) Play your guitar for a few weeks to let it settle in to its new environment before changing strings or tweaking the set-up.

3) Take a moment to appreciate just how well your Forum VII guitar fits in it's case once you open the box. This small detail is often overlooked but is an essential added benefit to your guitar's protection.

4) For first time satin finish owners, you will discover that Larrivee's Satin Finish is one of the best finishes available today. The satin finish will also highlight the quality of wood grain on the top, back and sides of your guitar.

So in the order the last 4 guitars were shown, are we looking at an 00 first, followed by 3 000's? They sure are beautiful!

So it seems. If they look as good as these it will be worth it.

I'm excited for you all! These look stunning.
