Quote from: jasonchamb on February 07, 2026, 12:07:27 PMSo I have to say, guys, that 4 hours before John Jr called me yesterday, I had a massive heart attack. Today, I'm glad I'll still be around when that Forum VII arrives. Looking forward to seeing and playing the finished instrument.
Yikes!! So glad you got the help you needed in a timely manner! I've heard that new guitars, and playing them often, is good for the heart! Wishing you great health moving forward! :+1:

That's so heavy, I'm not even sure what to say other than look out for yourself and I'm really glad you pulled through!!  :thumb

Just thought I'd mention that when speaking with John Friday, he mentioned that he was planning another photo shoot of our Forum VII's on Tuesday. I'll be anxious to see them all!

Jason, I'm wishing you a full and fast recovery, and years of enjoyment with your Forum VII guitar.

I'm very excited for you guys.  And, Jason, I wish you well!

Thanks everyone, I'm home and only looking at and listening to guitars instead of playing them for the moment.

Doing reasonably well, thanks to good care at the hospital and here at home.

Lucked out on Friday, by deciding to call 911 fast rather than "seeing if it would pass" and by my wife giving me aspirin even before the EMTs arrived. Without the aspirin, and a delay of even 30 min, and there would likely be a lefty FVII for John to sell. A lesson for all.

Appreciate all your good wishes. Looking forward to seeing and hearing your new instruments.

JC
