I was told "hopefully" Friday as well. It's funny, I've been waiting so long, I almost don't want the day to arrive because then the anticipation is gone.

You could always request a delayed shipping date of a month or two. Just to prolong that anticipation!  :humour:

John also told me that they were hoping to ship today.  Would be nice if that is confirmed.  Also great that temps have warmed up from what they were.  I was a bit concerned about shipping when it was more than -20C here in Canada.

I just rewatched a YouTube interview with Matt Larrivee at Alamo Music, and he said something like "when you order a custom guitar from us, it can take a long time, because you're waiting for either me, my brother, Jean or Wendy to finish their work on your guitar." 

I thought that was really cool.

At first I suspected it was the strap I ordered, but then I saw "signature required", and the weight of 23 lbs.

If you end up getting a 23lb. strap, you're gonna need a bigger guitar. (Jaws reference!)
