Long trip couple years since I've visited.
Didn't catch a thing .
 NOt even Covid.

Same crazy Larrivée player -since 1971.
Still gigging, still writing & recording.
Still playing Larrivée guitars- mostly older ones -too many to count.

But I may list a couple on the for sale page.

Still the best sounding & playing guitars made.

Any other gigging septuagenarian Larrivée players around here.?
"Senior" member means "old" right?
Like over 50?

Too many guitars to list here.
Too few brain cells to be bothered with...

Welcome back!
I'm due for a fishing trip. Only been once in 3 years.

Thanks for returning to the Forum. If you think about it, let us know what model(s) you have and what kind of music you're playing. It's nice to read and learn about the earlier models.

I'll join the septuagenarian club when I turn 70 in November and retired three years ago this month. My time is mostly divided between bicycling, fishing, guitars, traveling and herding nine grandchildren between the ages of 8 and 15. I was first introduced to Larrivee Guitars back in 2004 and I am both a fan and follower. This Thursday, I'm heading north to Georgian Bay for the first of three (or four) trips to Ontario this summer. One of my Larrivees comes along for the ride.

I love hearing from old members! I wish some of the others would pop in once in a while. Lots of history on this forum.

I'll be 75 this year,as far as the fishing thing goes, last time I cast a rod, was a couple of years ago in Scotland, and caught a couple of nice sea trout,anyhoo..I came late to Larrivee guitars, played around on acoustics since the late 60's,but only got  really serious about playing guitar in the late 80's,trying out and owning lots of different brands, and only just discovered Larrivee six years ago, through a new jamming friend, who had this OM-03,I was hooked then,my one regret is that I'd discovered Larrivee much sooner,as it might have saved me a truckload of money in the long run.

There's a familiar story. Started in the late 60's. Had lots of fun with my Gibsons, a few Martins, Yamahas and many others then discovered Larrivee just a few years ago. Feel like I missed out, but making up for lost time. Just purchased a parlor, got my eyes on a 00-03 and now with the 24 series peeking my interest. We'll see. I sure like this parlor though. I had to buy online with never seeing or touching one in person so was concerned about what kinda sound I'd get from it. It is so sweet and easy to handle. No worries - all smiles

By the way, Hello All, new member here

Welcome to the forum. I started playing in 1968 and found Larrivee for the first time in 2004. My first Larrivee was a new parlor and now I have five.

Good luck with your search and check in regularly. Don't be afraid to share your experience. There's a great group of people here.

Having just recently turned 70 I'm not doing much fishing either. Funny though that when I moved to Florida nine years ago I thought I'd be fishing several times a week. I figured I'd finally get around to using those 15 rods and reels and 20 tackle boxes. But life gets in the way and now I'm contemplating selling all of my gear except couple rods and reels and 2 or 3 tackle boxes so that my family won't have to deal with it.
Happily married to the woman of my dreams and looking forward to growing old together.<br />Truly,God has smiled upon this simple man.
