I know I will regret selling this guitar, but I have to sell 2 guitars to buy what I want and this one has to go.

If you clicked the title you either know what this guitar is or you are curious about rare slotted headstock guitars that could surprise you.

This guitar is awesome all around, not too many come up for sale, it's extremely comfortable, responsive, and just makes you smile when you play it. A few things to note - the -60 series are premium solid rosewood b/s, they have a larger soundhole, a few have the slotted headstock, the headstock has the volute in the back, the bridge style has pyramids, the spruce is higher grade (see close-up pics), and I'm sure I'm missing other pluses these have. The sound is balanced, responsive, and clear. The action is perfect with no buzz.

A few other specs:
- the nut is 1 & 3/4"
- scale length 25.5
- Upper bout is 10.25"; waist is 8.25"; lower bout is 14.25"
- body depth upper bout 3.75"; body depth lower bout is 4.25"
- rosewood back and sides
- serial number indicates manufacturing completion August of 2004
- onboard electronics is L.R. Baggs Active
- Bone nut & saddle
- Symmetrical X-bracing
- I was informed by a fellow forum member the tuners are actually upgraded (they are Slothead Cast Bronze 18:1 ratio, $349 retail)

I'm looking for $2,699 shipped and paypaled.

Hey Alexrkstr,

Was just about to pull the trigger on a 00 locally then I saw this! It's even more what I'm searching for, is it still available?

These are priceless Larrivees,I had a well used 2004 000-60,seller brought it from Durban SA, where he'd had it from new, gigged it all over the world, playing in the open air, at faith meetings in South America,Australia, Asia, everywhere,he never took any precautions about protecting the guitar,as he wasn't aware of humidity problems etc,the guitar would travel with him,but in the cargo bay of the plane, I couldn't believe how this guitar survived this treatment, and he was in blissful ignorance of the possible consequences, when I met up with him to view and play the guitar before buying,I found it to be in amazingly good condition despite its adventures,it played easy, and had no structural issues whatsoever,I think he must have got lucky,a true testament to Larrivee build quality, I sold it a while back ( a p/x for another Larrivee) though looking at this ad makes me wish I'd kept it now.

The Larrivee 00 body size is extremely comfortable with a wonderful sound.  Good luck with your sale, someone needs to jump on this!

Larrivee 00-40R Moonwood top
Larrivee LV-09 Moonwood top

That's a great looking guitar and someone should buy this. If it sounds half as good as it looks, it will be well worth it.
