Trying to value my P-05 which was purchased new around 2010.
Is there a way to tell the exact year?
Used P-05s are listed online for roughly $2k.
I paid much less for mine new.
I'm wondering why that is?
I noticed mine has black plastic tuning pegs and ones online are metal.
Other than that, seems to be the same guitar.

Hi, sites like Reverb and eBay allow people to list for free. So, you'll see quite a few overpriced guitars that go for months and years without selling. Right now, 05 level Larrivees are selling for around $1,000 to $1,500. That's just based on classified listings I've seen.

P-05 parlors are fairly popular guitars. The ones dated around 2010 like yours had Ping tuners (which could be problematic). Larrivee quit using them years ago.
If you go to the Larrivee.com website and drill down to customer service, you can leave your serial number with them and they will get back to you with the exact year it was built.
For pricing of your parlor guitar, check with Reverb and eBay, and be sure to look at some of the actual SOLD guitars.

Follow this link to input your serial number and it'll show what you have.

Date look up
Herman.
