I need a little more relief on my new 000-44R, but there's no resistance to the truss rod wrench when I crank it counter-clockwise. I can feel the tool slip into the socket, there's just absolutely no torque at all.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks

They sometimes need a little "help". Turn it 1/8 turn and put string tension back on. Then, you can repeat in an hour or so. It might just need the tension to pull it into relief.

Thanks. But that didn't help. I've turned the wrench dozens of times, right and left. Still absolutely no resistance, and no change to the relief. Hope I can get warranty service!

Its a two way truss rod so try going the other direction.

I wonder if you are pushing the truss Rod deep enough to actually be in the socket? It's a pretty deep hole, so make sure it's all the way in.
