How many of you own a Larrivee Anniversary edition guitar?  I am aware of the 30th C10 Brazilian, the 40th JCL, the 45th LV10, and the 50th LV10.
Here's my JCL 2007 40th Anniversary Reissue, just keeps getting better with age.

Guilty of owning 30th C10 Brazilian, the 40th JCL and the 45th LV10.

Couldn't quite justify bringing home the 50th LV10.

Here's the 30th:

Man that 30th is gorgeous. Would love to see a closeup photo of the headstock inlay.

I like the neck inlay on that 30th. :thumb

The inlays on both the 30th and 50th are quite stunning.  :nice guitar:
Jean definitely went for the understated "back to the original L" look on the 40th.
But the tone rivals my Goodall.   Now we just need someone to post a 45th.
Andrew, where is a pic of that beautiful Brazilian on the 30th?  And one of your trio of anniversary models.

I don't have one of these, but if I could find a lefty 40th Anniversary, I'd probably jump on it. Love the "classic" Larrivee aesthetics...

I've seriously thought about ordering a custom with most/all of the 40th Anniversary features. Maybe someday. For now I'll keep enjoying my '79 L-19, which comes pretty darn close!

Hey Mikey, that's a pretty cool inlay on your L19, I have never seen one quite like that.
I was lucky to find my JCL 40th.

On the headstock? Yes, very interesting; I've only seen a couple of these, and never in person except for this one.

I think Larrivee called these "Cameo's" and there were one (or two?) employees that Wendy trained to do these (if I'm not "mis-remembering" - to quote GW Bush...).

Phantom thread bump

I've always been a hog player but I stumbled across a few, very specific, Larrivee rosewood videos on YouTube. They were:

L11 (now reissued at Sweetwater with German spruce top)

40th anniversary (I understand the bracing is different from normal)

50th anniversary (moon top)

I understand all these tops were picked for voicing. The 50th sounds sublime.

The L11 and 40th sound different imo to the normal rosewood offerings. What exactly is different with these?

Rare as hen's teeth, especially in the UK.
