I'm curious, what a guitar like this would cost to have built, today?

Larrivee, or a Larrivee dealer, can give you the exact cost. They may or may not be able to get that type of koa, or do that inlay. Also, some charges are "we don't want to do this" charges (which is where some exotic woods fall these days).
If it's something you're after, or something you're selling, used ones will generally go for half (or less) than the new value. So, if you have one, hang onto it.

We have seen this guitar before.....

It is a REALLY good thread, with another guitar just like it also shown by one of our forum members.
You will get an idea of the cost of it, new, from back in 2000.
John Jr also posts in the thread and talks about the best koa tree they ever found.

We know it has an Anna headstock, and vine inlay fretboard. Big $$$.
Using an OMV-10 as the price "base", one can scan the custom price list and come up with a best guess MSRP of $12500.
But the guitar wouldn't have that particular koa unless Larrivee still has some.
Who knows what the dealer price (MAP) would be, but if the discount were around 25%, it would cost around $9400.00.

Stunning looking guitar, the fretboard inlays are just too beautiful, not everyone's cup of coffee probably, but I love it.

Asking what a model like this would cost at present day prices will always be a lottery, and probably not commensurate with its true resale value, when I purchased a '96 C-10 BR, I contacted Larrivee about its serial number, they duly replied with the information I requested, and added that were it to be manufactured at todays prices,it would cost $20,000+ notwithstanding the fact that the Barazilian Rosewood issue would be extremely problematic to say the least, the reality is that I would have a problem selling it anyway,as the Larrivee brand is still a relatively niche name, and would be lucky to get a few thousand for it.

Extraordinary koa right there.
 :nice guitar:

That sure is pretty, but honestly, I'd probably never pick up a guitar to play that looks like that.  Somewhere along the way in my guitar-journey, I must've adopted the belief that flashy guitar = flashy skills, and I'd surely feel like a poser with a blingy instrument like that. It would be awesome to have hanging on the wall though (for me).  YMMV.

That's the type of guitar I would never take out of the house what a beauty! I'm also guessing $9-$10k.

Just came across this thread. I'm the owner of this guitar. I recently contacted Larrivee for a quote for insurance replacement cost.
Here was their response.
OMV-10 = $6599
AAAA KOA = $2250+ (good luck trying to find this quality again)
Lucia Inlay = $1500
Vine FB Inlay = $1400
------------------------------------
Total USD MSRP = $11,749

Or get a new OMV-03 for $2,000
