Hey, I'm specifically interested in Iced Tea pics but I'd love to see pics of any and all sunburst/colored tops - Tobacco, Cherry, Vintage Cherry, Iced Tea.

If there's a past thread on this, please post the link. I couldn't find any with pics.

Larrivee tobacco burst is amazing in person. Mine had a sense of depth to it that I liked even better than the one on my Bourgeois. And, I'm not even a burst fan. I'll see if I can find a pic on an old drive.

That's beautiful! Was that custom made for you? I am having a Larrivee built for me [should be done in a few months].This looks just like what I ordered,except mine will be a 14 fret job. I hope my Sunburst is exactly like yours! Jean junior doesn't seem to want to give much info when I text him, I'm sure he is swamped...Just wondering if yours is a special order.Thanks!

I ordered a custom thru Trinity Guitars about 10 years ago. I was inspired by the Forum IV that I also owned but let go. I'm thinking some sunburst OO's popped up on a Facebook acoustic group at the time which inspired me to order one. The pic I shared was sent with the wrong tuners, I'd asked for the vintage looking tulip ones so after a few more months I finally had the one below. Honestly I like the streaky grain of the first one over the more uniform soundboard grain of the second one. Waiting will be the hardest part for you, ten years ago I got used to the phrase "just a few more weeks" and finally stopped asking. I've read more recent orders were received faster than mine was. Best of luck with it!

<sigh> I've been reluctant to mention that, as I don't want to malign our favorite manufacturer. Memory fades but it took at least a year. Then with the incorrect tuners I had to return that and it took another 4 months to get the second one. All of which took a bit of joy out of that specific guitar I had such lust for a year earlier.

This all made me scratch my head a bit. That a manufacturer would make a choice to treat their most enthusiastic custom buyers so poorly is very odd to me, but they're are a profit making concern and I suppose custom orders have to enter the flow of their shop processes just like any other guitar.

And so the major caveat is this was 10 years ago and surely their shipping times as well as their communication have improved since. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and I'm sure it'll be worth the wait!

I like how it's slightly light around the top of the soundhole.

My problem now is I have three amazing Sitka/hog OMs and should probably let one go to try an OM09 uuggghh lol

They don't even show one on the Larrivée website.
