I saw via email that the D-40 drawing ended and the winner was listed.  It would be cool if he was a member here and could post about the guitar once he gets it.  I really wanted to win myself but didn't need another guitar!  To the winner: congratulations!
 :nice guitar:

I also wanted to win, but I was just being greedy. I'd love to see him post some pictures, I'm sure it's a great looking guitar.

Congrats to the winner! Would love to see photos too

I wish there was an easy way to posts pics here.

Hmmm... I consider myself very much a Luddite and I don't have any trouble (though before the site was upgraded it was near impossible).  Maybe because I'm using a Mac?  Maybe it's different on a PC.

I am the winner of the D-40.  I received it on Tuesday but had to leave town on Wed.  So I haven't played it much.  Here is a quick pic I took for my kids.  I will post more once I get back home. Let me add that the folks at Larrivee have been incredible. I am have been particularly impressed with the way the family is hands-on. I received a call from John Junior as well as a few emails. Christine, emailed me the invoice.  Both were especially kind. This is truly a family owned and operated business.  Makes owning a Larrivee all the more enjoyable. The guitar arrived well packaged and sooner than expected.  I am very grateful for the guitar and the folks at Larrivee.

I post images from both PCs and Macs. Not much difference between the two.

one more pic.  It is a beautiful guitar.  I was thinking that each handcrafted guitar is really a work of art.  Each is unique. There are always subtle differences in the wood.  I am looking forward to playing this one!

That maple binding really looks great against the sunburst finish!

Is the whole back of the neck black, or did they do a burst paint job on that as well?
