Hi,

I'm looking for a ~2002 Larrivee L-19 California Special Edition that was made to commemorate Larrivee's move of some manufacturing operations to California.  It has the very cool Palm Tree inlay on the headstock!

If you have one to sell/trade or know of one somewhere please message me.

THANKS!

Just in case you're not familiar, you can set up automated searches in Reverb and EBay that will email you if one comes up for sale. I've found they are helpful when searching for rare items.

It seems like you've been looking for this model for a while without success. My guess is that either the owners of these guitars love them too much to sell them or they are so busy playing them they don't have time to read Forums.

Here's a thought. Have you considered taking the specs for this guitar and asking Larrivee to build you a custom version with the same Palm Tree inlay? If they are willing to do it, you may pay more and have a bit of a wait but it will be worth it in the long run. Keep in mind that special wood requests or intricate inlays will add to the build time.

Two of my three custom or special ordered guitars are Larrivees, the other is a Martin, and all three buying experiences were positive from start to finish. My experience with Larrivee is that they are humble, experienced hardworkers with their name on the headstock who want to put the guitars they build into the hands of players.

Good luck.
