Just checked tracking on mine, travelling along I-10 in Texas now, about a six hour drive away, likely sitting in a truck stop near Sonora Tx.
It scheduled delivery is Mon afternoon.

Haha...just checked mine, as well, and it was last shown in Kingman, AZ at 3:10 this afternoon. Had an email late Wednesday saying it was updated to Monday delivery but then another early Thursday changing it back to Tuesday. It'll get here soon enough and I've learned in my later years to not wish my days away. They're just too precious.

Well, mine is now in Houston, guess it'll sit until Monday when it's scheduled for delivery in the afternoon, soooo close, yet so far.

Good thing is temps are in the low 80's, so the warehouse shouldn't be too cold or warm.

On another note:    Hey Bard, where's the reveal photos and comments?????  :guitar

Happy holidays!!!

I've barely had time to check it out. I've been busy all day cooking and entertaining. I have picked it up several times. It is as tremendous as we've been imganing. Incredibly articulate and rich. The wood choices will not disappoint. It turns out that it is quite a good strummer as well. Hopefully, I can get some more time to get acquainted with it soon and give a more fulll review. Even though I've sparingly played her, it really does have a wow! factor!
You guys are gonna love love love it!!!

As soon as I saw that I sent an email to John.

I did not install it. The last I spoke with John Jr., I had asked if they could put mine on. He said no because they were keeping it simple. All pickguards come uninstalled. That was fair enough.
I'm guessing he had this done for me anyway because they always seem to go the extra mile.
I'm pretty certain you have nothing to worry about with having an uninstalled pickguard as expected.

Thank you for your speedy reply. If this is an error, at least we have over tomorrow to get with Larrivee and avoid it for the other guitars.
The detached pickguard was a spec item, and I won't assume we have nothing to worry about.
If you are right, then no harm done.
We have had one "oops" item so far, and it was caught in real time.

I never would have thought to see the name "Tucumcari" mentioned on this forum, or anywhere else for that matter, but there
it is.  My home town, though I haven't lived there for many years but my parents still are.

And yes, it sounds like 'Willin' is most appropriate!!

Merry Christmas and may your guitar find you soon!!   :thumbsup

Merry Christmas to you, as well! My VI is still on track to find me by end of day Tuesday...that is unless it heads to Tehachapi or Tonopah next!

Well you've made it past Tehacahpi and Tonopah so you should be good.  Enjoy!!

These pics made me so happy, beautiful guitar Bard! And reading this also made me realize that I'm glad mine is showing after Christmas...we have had a houseful and I don't know that I have the willpower/restraint that you have shown. My wife would've killed me after a few hours of ignoring the world around me... :roll

Thanks for the photos Bard, your guitar looks very nice.

Just got an e-mail from Fed Ex this morning that mine is scheduled for delivery tomorrow.

Some of the folk were worried about the pick guard being installed, I liked the look.

I saw one of the guitars in the photos the other day had fret markers, others did not.

That would be mine and the "uh oh". When John called and told me, I didn't hesitate to accept it that way even before seeing the picture he sent me after the call. I actually preferred the fret markers but went with the flow at the time. Not a big deal to me.

Riverbend, that makes yours a *one of a kind* !

Nobody else can say that. Looks great regardless, it wouldn't have bothered me had it been mine.

Tracked mine last at Continental Divide, NM. Hope she doesn't take a wrong turn at Albuquerque!

These early reports are tantalizing!
