Hmmmm, I see in the second photo sent today, somebody is getting an SL-03, while others are getting an LS-03.

I tend to notice details, years of working as a photographer. ( unless my eyes deceive me, in which case good thing I'm retired now)  :humour:

I noted (where I am keeping track), that 803 is an SL model. Good eye!
Looks like 813 and 818 I haven't been able to figure the model.

Lou (Hooked) asked me if I had any gut feel or informed thinking about deliveries for the F-VI.
Since we are in production, we are obviously many months ahead of a worst case timeline, though John initially cautioned against getting hopes up too high. I am optimistic that we may see the guitars shipped before the Christmas crunch, but that is just me, and John has not said anything to support that. I'm guessing production started Oct 11, and we got our first pics Oct 16. I honestly think we got bumped up. John has not mentioned any supply side issues.

By way of history, the first F-III (of over 78) were done in 8 weeks and picked up at the factory.
The 2 batches of F-IV seem to have been built in 12 and 10 weeks respectively, they were overlapping, and the first group closed orders before Christmas, so.... holidays.

Oh man! Moving right along!
Funny thing happened. I saw the latest pics on my phone. Later, I went to pull them up on my laptop for a better look. The pictures were gone!
Turns out I accidentally put John Jr. on my ignore list. haha

That bracing sure looks purdy. Now we know how "normal" it all looks compared to the F-III.
Thanks, John!

Mike, did you notice something on that top with the bracing?
LSV!
Fascinating! The top is made in full with bracing before cutting out the cutaway.

Cool photo of the bracing.  :thumb

I did NOT notice that, since I was focused on the bridge area.
Many gold stars to you. I have asked for a pic of the LS bracing, just for the record.
I am thankful this is a group effort. Thank you.

I noticed that right away, too - I thought - "Hey, that brace is too short!" Then I realized it was one of the LSV tops...  :thumbsup

I'm also still not used to seeing a neck adjustment hole in the cross brace above the sound hole on a Larrivee. For so many years Larrivees used the "J" truss rod wrenches to find the truss rod hidden behind that brace.

Go back to Page 9 and look at photo #8. The bodies on top of the Forum VI bodies are very deep. Almost twice as deep?  What is that all about? Is it just an optical illusion?
