Here are all of the backs of anyone who has posted a picture of their Forum VI so farI. I threw this together really quickly just for fun. No pro photoshop job but still thought it would be cool to see.

It is very cool to see, and thanks. Good job!
Hopefully you will get to do one with 16 backs one of these days.

Thanks for sharing this Bard.

One of the things that first attracted me to Larrivee Guitars was their incredible attention to detail coupled with their selection and use of wood. These photos highlight both the consistency and differences for each guitar.

Like Neapolitan ice cream, I will have three flavors with different top(pings) to choose from with Larrivee including a Sitka Spruce/Flamed Maple (Parlor), Mahogany/Mahogany (LV03 12 String), Moonwood Spruce/Walnut (Forum VI).

Just a quick update on the shipment of my guitar, one week later and it is still sitting in a trailer in Kent, WA.  Apparently there are issues with drivers being able to cross into Canada?  Just hearsay however.  I went to the local Fedex Ground Warehouse on Friday to see if they could shed any light and was told they had one truck that was to arrive yesterday (Sunday) and had 3 trailers sitting in Washington to come up.

Patience is a virtue I hear!!!   :winkin:

Speedy delivery for the rest of the journey.  Hang in there, and we will be sending good thoughts your way.

Thank you Sir!!!

Good luck. There's nothing harder than trying to manage things that are beyond our control.

It has landed!!!!  I picked it up yesterday and it is just gorgeous, from the gorgeous top to the very unique back with flaming (rippling) throughout.

I began to write my initial impression of what I am hearing but have opted to wait until I have it more defined!!

So excited!!

Great back you got there. Sweet.
Looking forward to your comments how it plays, and you can please kindly compare it to your other Notable guitar!

I am super impressed by the tone of this guitar.  I am falling in love with Larrivee all over again!  Now I need to decide about a pickguard.  Use what it came with or get a clear one?

I decided to add the pickguard.  Looks good to me and gives me some peace of mind.

Mine came installed and I prefer it that way, as I like some peace of mind too.

Mine also came installed. I was going to remove it, but I decided I like the look, and the protection it provides.
