Sears & Roebuck has been good to me this week

About a year ago I picked up a 1970 Sears & Roebuck model 319, which is about the same as a Harmony Stella guitar. It was in great shape except for the bridge, which was some dark stained pine I think and therefore had really deep grooves dig into it from the strings.  I paid either $15 or $20 for it.  Then about 6 weeks ago I saw a 'kids guitar' for sale in the local FB marketplace ads for 6$.  The photo was pretty crummy. Turns out is was another S&R 3/4 size but this one was a model 306, in fantastic condition for its age. I told the lady selling it that it could be worth quite a bit more.  She just wanted it gone. Gave her an Abe and a George and on my way. Finally got around to taking some nice pix of the model 319 and got a hit from a blues slide player who had been shopping for a Harmony Stella and he paid me $125 for that one. I realized he might like another and he bought the model 309 for $125 as well. $250 for a $26 investment.

And my wife was happy that there were two cases LEAVING the house instead of incoming.
