So I signed up for an on-line guitar course to learn some hot country guitar playing and joined the Facebook page for the course. Am I crazy or am I just an unbelievable snob? I can't believe how many people who can barely play a chord are sharing videos of themselves barely able to play a chord. I'd think one would at least wait until they've gotten something down pat before displaying their abilities to the world.   :?

People want to be remembered till the end of time  so they post on facebook,no big deal.

Actually they were a gift from my wife who, for some inexplicable reason, thinks she's really funny.

I think she's funny..


I wear sox in the winter or it gets below 68 degrees.

Where do you sign up for these lessons? Country you say? Surely it wouldn't be that hard to play 'Cowboy Chords' could it?  :roll

Regarding the course and the videos people are posting....  I think it's hard for some of us to remember how big of a deal it is to be able to even play simple chords.  And then when you see someone truly great at guitar, the whole things begins to seem like a super power.  I'm a lifelong mediocre guitarists and am sometimes still absolutely amazed that I can play at all.
