Yeah. What a coincidence.
I linked that MXR pedal from Sweetwater's site and can you guess who rang me up on the phone later the same day?
That's just a little bit creepy.

Crazy that it's come to that. I was firm with them about 10 years ago that I didn't want them calling and they have left me alone. But, it used to be chronic. Calling like they're my buddy, asking how things are going.

I link to various products from Sweetwater in forums all of the time and this has never happened to me. I have been using the same salesman there since 1994 or so, but now he has a team working for him. I get calls about 2x a year from them. But I link to stuff on their site way more often than that.  I'm quite impressed that they retain employees that long. That's almost unheard of these days. I don't mind two times a year contact from a company like that.
