"Senior" member means "old" right?
Like over 50?

Too many guitars to list here.
Too few brain cells to be bothered with...

I'm curious about it, too. I'm not a Taylor fan (I've played one recently that I'd be willing to own, but don't need it), but I give kudos to Andy Powers for having the vision to try a new design. It will be interesting to hear what these sound like, although at first this bracing will only be offered on their highest end guitars (900 Series & a couple others).

It is great to see builders trying and tweaking!

But wouldn't it be nice if they could rein in the marketing department?

"the V-Class bracing also provides better intonation for the guitar"

Better "voicing" maybe? A guitar design that relies on bracing for intonation sounds a bit iffy.

And I've never thought of bolt on necks as being "ground breaking" either.

And I've never thought of bolt on necks as being "ground breaking" either.

But Bob Taylor did - who would have thought a bolt on acoustic could sell for premium prices - that's ground breaking friend from which he is leading the charge!

Interesting concept.  With technology advancements these days we should likely see improvements to old designs?  As far as bolt on necks are concerned, some very good luthiers, including Dana Bourgeois, have migrated to the concept and I do not see any reduction in their tonal quality...
