What year did Larrivee switch to Khaya and stop using Honduran mahogany?

I have a 2007 L-05 on the way and wondering if it's s. American or khaya mahogany? Looks like the typical orangish/honey color of Honduran but I'm not 100%.

Send Larrivee an e-mail (from their website) and give them your serial number - they should be able to tell you which mahogany it's built with.

I believe it was after 2010 or somewhere thereabouts. One of the Larrivee bros said it here on the forum before so you might be able to search it.

The wood looks just like my old 000-50.    I'm pretty pretty sure it's Honduran mahogany

Beautiful guitar. Enjoy when it arrives!
