Oh Man Dale, I really Love this song and LLB made it sound better than the original...  Which one of your acoustics were you playing on this one?  I did not recognize the celtic knot nor the headstock inlay...
George

thanks so much gentlemen for being willing to check this one out!

I used open E, which is identical as open D with a capo on the 2nd.  A lot of players steer away from open E because of increased tension on the guitar - i wouldn't want to leave my guitar in that tuning but i think the guitars we play these days aren't not going to have an issue if they are in sound condition.  Open D is great though and good for Little Martha too!

Thanks for asking about the guitar - it's one built by Will Renshaw - i call it the Trinity guitar because of the multiple references to 3.

your friend,
dale

Thanks Dale, I thought it was one of your Renshaw's but I didn't remember you playing it on a video before.

Great job as usual.  Thanks for posting the tutorial as well.  I may need to give this a try.

i think you'd really enjoy playing it...thanks for checking out the vids!

Beautiful, tight, rendition! (Not sure if tight is the right word, but to my untrained ear, everybody was spot on. Filming was nice, too). Love that acoustic!
