JJB Pickup

Just rec'd my JJB 330 pickup for my L-05. Anyone have experience with these, especially on an 'L' body? I had K&K on a D-18v a few years ago and it was fine and these are supposed to be about the same animal.

Great price.  Never used this brand.  Let us know how it turns out for you.  Hopefully you can do some comparison testing?

The way things appear (to me), is that K&K did a lot of research and development, and then the folks at JJB found elements that looked the same, and copied the design.  The ones I've heard sound good.   I can't help but feel like K&K are getting the short end of the stick, though.  I guess that's the way of the world.

I did get a 2 element thingy from JJB for my tenor guitar...  that I may just get to one of these days...  both learning the tenor and installing the pickup.
