Larrivee Saddles

I have a Martin D18 GE and yes the saddle is glued in fossilzed ivory. My favorite guitar to play.

The saddles on Martin GE and Authentics are glued in. I have an earlier Martin HD-28LSV (2001) with a glued in saddle. After 10/11/02 Martin went to drop in long(or through) saddles on the LSV.

On a Martin you can tell the drop vs glued in long (through) saddle by looking at the ends of the saddle. Drop ins are round on the end (and a tad deeper saddle rout)  and the glued ins are squared off on the ends.
