Thanks - always enjoyed playing this one.  I'd kind of forgotten about it

Sounds good.  What type of recording setup do you have?

Two Blue Encore 300 mics into a Tascam DP-01FX digital 8 track.   My recordings like this (vocal and main guitar part) are always "live" and not overdubbed.   So just some reverb on the vocal and that's it.

So live as in playing and singing in one take together?   So one of the blue mics for the vocal and one for guitar?

Thanks Rosborn - appreciate the kind words!

Scrambler - yes, that's correct on both accounts.   The only overdubs I'll have are any harmony vocals or extra guitar parts.

Here's a thread from about a year and a half ago where I put up a few at a time......

There are quite a few others posted in here as well if you go back through pages 1-4.

Cool.  Sounds great.  Thanks for answering the questions.  I'd like to start doing some recording again.  Don't seem to have the time right now. Plus my digital 4 track is 15 years old now and severely outdated.  I appreciate hearing about other folk's setups so I can get that in the back of my mind.

The DP-01FX is probably approaching 10 years old, but I love the way it works - the simplicity of having everything right in front of you for example, and also being able to pick  it up and record wherever you'd like, as opposed to computer based recording.   Don't count your old machine out.

Really enjoyed that, thanks for posting.   :thumbsup
