Coil tap switch (electric guitar)

Hoping this is the right place for this.  If not, mods please feel free to move it.  Thanks.

Ok, 2 humbuckers.  I think there is only room for one switch.  Would you put the coil tap switch on the bridge or neck pickup?  And, why?

I think I know what I'd do (or what I'll do), but I'm interested in the thoughts of others.

If they are 4 wire pu's and your soldering skills are good why don't you use a push/pull pot on each pu this way you get to work both at the same time.

it is a 1 vol 1 tone setup.  I could replace both with push-pulls and do that.  Great idea.

My epi nighthawk has bridge and tail hb, with a sc middle pup and a one tone one vol knob setup with a 5 position blade switch. The to e pot is a push pull which taps both hb simultaneously.  To s of to al variety with this setup from very stray like tone to Tele to SG.

On my first electric build I went with 2 Humbuckers and V T T controls with the volume being a push/pull to split the coils.  Works great.
