The C-60 was part of a series Jean did in the early 90's starting in North Vancouver. They were mostly C and D style bodies with large soundholes (missing inner ring) and had chunky style headstock inlays by Wendy. By "chunky" I mean big inlay with large pieces. The inlays were usually an eagle, tiger or a horse. The line was only around for a few years then dropped. It really has little or no connection with the current 60 series line.

So that being the case what was the difference ( if any) to the 70 series of that time or just a few years prior  :?

I was under the impression the 70 series was the the "Bling" line of the time (presentation models)?
Valdy's C-72 comes to mind.
"Senior" member means "old" right?
Like over 50?

Too many guitars to list here.
Too few brain cells to be bothered with...

Yup you are thinking of the 72 and 78 series also known as Presentation Models blinged to the max
A different animal to the 70

I'm sure the right answer is just around the corner....

I believe these were the inlays used...

Yes, mine was made June 14, 1993 and it has the Eagle. What I would love to know is if a 9V battery pickup was installed in the "factory".

The 70's were just more "blingy" than the 60's.

That is correct. No correlation between 70 series and the 72's. BTW... 78 was just a cutaway 72. Eventually the 78 was dropped in favor of the 72 preceded by the "C" (C-72)
