It's here...  I was surprised by the deluxe archtop case.  Other than that, it is *exactly* what I wanted.  Y'know how sometimes you pick up a guitar and it just cradles right in place?  That was this one.  When I put it down, I may try for a few better pics or a video.  For now, I'm too busy playing with it to fool with that, though.

:nice guitar: Congrats on a beautiful new guitar! I'm starting to sound like the proverbial broken record but I can't help it; Larrivee is surely making some of the very finest guitars on the planet!

Congratulations - it looks lovely! How's it sound?

Ed how does it sound in comparison to the OOV I got from you?

Ok, I've been reserving comment on the tone until I changed strings.  It came with D'Addario EXP PB mediums.  It sounded good, but a little uhm...  less than sparkly.  It also felt a little stiff.  For years (about 10 or so) I've been using Pearse PB bluegrass on my good old original issue parlor.  I put a set on, and it sounds and feels like home.

In comparison to the OO?   That's tough.  By experience, I'd say my hearing memory is not what I'd like to think it is.  Hopefully that makes sense.  The OO was a little louder and fuller than my existing parlor.  I'd assume the same with this new parlor.

I should add..  the setup is great.  I may lower the saddle a hair somewhere along the line, but the nut and relief are just perfect for me.

Ed

It's SOOO nice. Man, i am jealous.  :winkin: The mahogany is terrific.
Mazel tov, its great to hear you got everything you wanted!
