Would you be surprised that it doesn't say LARRIVEE on the headstock? My '75 doesn't and I believe his is a '74.

According to the news article his is a 73.  But the Larrivee he's seen with in pictures is clearly not that guitar.  The 73 might not even be an L since Jean's first steel strings were dread-style (according to Larrivee history article).  Then again, if it is as the article claims - the first Larrivee steel string - maybe it's the first L since Jean's first steel-strings were made in 71 not 73 (according to Larrivee history article).  I don't know when the L body was started - anybody?
