Well what do you know. I got one that works. All I've done is set it up with a mixer to it and used mic.  So more later. Initial short impression is as I thought. (I have heard Bose before)
The Bose sounds thin but very real and intimate and the sound dispersion is as advertised. But I I add my  Brozman RA-400 with it to add the meat, and it's best of both worlds.  That what I got going now. Bose by itself FOR ME AND MY POUNDING AND ROCKIN too thin. But other than that very, very clean and dispersive. (dispersive?) More later.

Well, we practiced thru it tonite and the combo sounds absolutely great.  Best sounding acoustic set up I could imagine, So using the RA-400's mixer. It has great front ends for acoustic pickups and mics. It's amp and speakers sound great too. Then a line out into the Bose. Natural clean and beefy. I don't know what else to say. Can't imagine a better set-up. Here's pics of what I use in conjunction with it.  I think it was a real fluke that I got 2 bad units to start with from Bose. The cust service was great and the got new units here quickly and paid all shipping, The second time they didn't even wait until I shipped defective unit back. In fact I didn't ship it until new one arrived and I had UPS guy take the old one as he delivered new. Enuf. Now just time to play thru it.

I went to the link but do you know if there is a modal that has 4-6 xlr in.Do you think it can be used for a duo as a main PA mostly small club work?

No. Chans 1-3 take XLR or 1/4 in. 4&5 take 2 1/4 in. each. Plenty of ins and outs..

The speaker configuration looks like 2 12" and a 10".How well does it handle the vocals.This amp intrigue's me for some reason.

It handles everything great. It's a killer little thing.  Great front ends to chans for mics and 1/4 inch.  Geez I'm bushed. Anyway the mixer portion is great. Regardless of what kinds of pick-up you use you don't need a preamp either. Just a rich full sound.  It's smaller than it looks. The speakers I haven't measured but they are more like 8-10 inch maybe and a 6. PLENT OF BASS The sound is more on the rich and deeper end. The vocals sound great. It doesn't have a lot of the crystal clear highs. So....we use something else for 2 reasons. We've been using the Fishman which covers the highs better (not nearly the richness) and it spreads sound out. We face it at an angle where it gets audience and us too. The Bose same idea but much better on the spreading of sound and just super clear. We could just use "Brownie" as we affectionately call her, but I'm kiind of addicted to that spread out sound and partner really likes to have monitor type of deal. Brownie is very flexible with ins and outs. It's not cheap. They are made in Italy and so far Bob Brozman is the only one bringing them into US.  HOWEVER. They are made by SR technoligies and just recently some of thier similar models started being introduced in the U.S.. Wait a second and I'll see if I can find link. They don't have as many chans though.

Looks like they go for about 950. the RA 400 is more but as you can see offers a lot more all the way around.
Bob Brozman only one you can get RA 400 from. You buy it from him personally. Which does give you opportunity to talk to a great world class musician. He designed is and it has his name on it. I'm bushed and laying down. Hope that made some kinda sense. Oh here's another pic which will show you that it's not that big when you compare it to the instruments around it.
