Practice Neck / Fretboard

Have you guys found something like this to be useful?  shredneck on ebay   Any recommendations, like finding something better (or not) if they are worthwhile?  Thanks.

Save your money for new strings and lock yourself in your practice room for some serious woodshedding. Just an opinion but I think it's a gimmick.

Looks like a gimmick I must say BUT if you were say in a position where you say use transit for long commutes and downtime and lookin to fill it well for $20 and should the opporunities making this practical I'd roll the dice.

Let us know what you decide. And if you get it let us know what you think of it. As ffinke states tho nothing like quality practice time.

You seem to feel pretty much the same as I do... Guess that's what made me ask instead of going ahead and picking one up.  Thanks for your thoughts.
