Kudos to the fine P05-MT photo of the month.  Nice angle, just enough gloss showing, no pickguard, and that mahogany top.  I really like the way Larrivee finishes mahogany.   The appreciation and respect they have of fine wood is so evident.

Great picture but why doesn't it fill the frame? On my computer there is white on right and lower portion of frame. Does this happen for anyone else? Mods, can you look into this?

Yeah that part is not so good but it sure is a beautiful guitar!

This is the image size I nominated.  800 X 600  hosted through photobucket.

I don't know how to change this.   Hopefully it can be made larger.   It's such a great picture.

That's so much better a tad larger.  Thanks Mr LV!!

How could anyone NOT love a GLOSS FINISH!!! Ooh, la, la!

I like the way the sun caused the starbursts at the tail and on the high E string at the end of the fingerboard. This picture is even better in full res.

Hey Roger! In illustration parlance those are called "pings" or "farkles"!... Just saying. :bgrin:

A couple things could affect the size.

If the original was a screen capture and not downloaded from the original using a 'save as', it would be limited to the size as captured on the screen (for example, using a Shift PrtScn function and paste into a photo program for cropping).

Or it could be the block settings within the TinyPortal software.

Assuming TinyPortal works like the SimplePortal software I run on my site, the image size is controlled from within the custom HTML embedded in that block.

Does the TinyPortal block code that embeds the photo have any HTML that looks anything like this?

Quotediv style="width:200px; height:240px

It could also have something to do with pulling the image from Photobucket. Might be better off to host the GOTM photos locally (on Larriveeforum.com) than remote link to another site.

I played with it for quite a while. The original was too large for the allocated space on the Home Page.
I'll try again...
And by the way, let me say once again, it is a great guitar and a really great photograph. Roger (Mr_LV19E) took this photo. He owned the guitar and I bought it from him a few years ago.

OK, I reposted. It is too large now. Maybe that is better than too small.
I'll try it later in a different browser.

Awesome guitar and pics !  :winkin:
