Small body larrivee no cut pickup

I'm looking for advice on a soundhole pick up or external Mic for a Larrivee 00-03. I've read good things about the LR Bags M1 active and the Fishman Blackstack. Looking for bluesy feel. Anyone try one of these?

Installed a couple of the M1's sounded like an electric guitar.Haven't seen any of the Fishman pu.Have you considered the Ibeam or the K+K neither needs a barn door but for me at least they bennifit from external pre-amps.I use at least indoors the GNS A33 mic which I mount via a velcro patch on the side which lets me set the mic over the 14 fret with good results.I'm checking into some of the Samson wireless mics soon,when I do I'll post a reveiw.

To be honest I have guitars with both the M1A and Fishman Rare Earth Humbucker and I prefer the Fishman.  That said using an external mic would produce a more natural acoustic sound.
