Interesting to se a couple of body style's coming out of mothballs LS and LJ.The LS has become my prefered body style and having once owned an LJ that went to my best buds kid is a wonderful jumbo body style. The quilted mahogany is amazing.

I am curious as to the stability of quilted hog as a soundboard.  Has it been done before?

yea, Martin has used quilted and figured mahogany tops on a few limited runs like the Jimmy Buffet 000-18

but this one might be my fav;

Is this the first time John and Mathew are signing guitars?

Like to see the lv with the curly walnut top, sides and back. Looks like Santa's elves are working some great gifts for this year. :whistling:

Q: How many guitars does a man need?
A: One more.

I'm from Sweden. The home of Levin, Hagström & Sundberg Guitars.
We also ride polarbears to work on a daily basis. Yes, it's true.

A lot of those sound quite intriguing, though I'd prefer most without the Baggs system.

I stumbled across this serendipitously earlier in the day the same day you posted it.  I ended up getting first pick of the L-03's !  Very wonderful people to work with, and I have no idea how they stay in business with some of the listed prices.....more than reasonable.

Very well done! :beer

At last! Sitka is not the ONLY sound board material. Glad to see the variety coming out of Larrivee but what about the OMs and 000s?
Larrivee L-03 w/Gotoh 381 tuners (African Mahogany/Sitka)
Collings OM2Hc (EIR/Sitka)
Schenk Ophirio (Sapele/Cedar)
Bourgeois 00 Custom (Mahogany/It. Spruce)

I wish Larrivee did a better job of promoting it's special edition guitars. The Larrivee web sight makes no mention of limited edition models or the one series. I would never have known about my special edition Bubinga Larrivee had I not happen to walk into a store that had one. In the end though perhaps the lack of promotion adds to there mystique.

I never heard of anyone signing but JCL. I asked John to sign my F-III in Vancouver but he declined at that time saying that only his dad's name should be on the Label. It's nice to see the son's will be signing as well.

Looks like a good opportunity for those that were looking for a L body with a twelve fret neck join.
