Depending on one's definition, of course, I wouldn't classify a Larrivee of any model as a "beater".

Became a Shooting Star when I got my 1st guitar.
Back in '66, I was 13 and that was my fix.
Still shooting for stardom after all this time.
If I never make it, I'll still be fine.

Sorry, to clarify: not looking for a beater per se, but looking for a guitar that will be well loved (and hopefully to be joined/replaced some day by, say a custom koa LS-10).
