New OM5MT- Mahogany Content!

Just picked up a minty OM5MT.  I'm guessing early '90s by the serial #.  Waiting for Larrivee to confirm date. It is  unusual in that it has 1 11/16" nut and beautiful glossed ebony headstock.  Surprisingly full and loud for a smaller guitar, with crisp clear mahogany tone and great sustain.  It happily joins big brothers JCL and D10 in my Larrivee family.

Wow mate, thats really nice. Wish some Hog top Larrivees made there way to our shores (Oz). But alas Ive never seen one.....

Note to dkoloff:  Keep and eye out in the forum classifieds.  Every once in a while a hogtop will show up.  My son bought an L05MT off the forum about a year ago.  And itwas available for quite a while.  The ringing clear mahogany sound is a nice contrast to EIR.  It is fun to have both!
