Well, I had to learn the hard way that I am truly a short scale guy. It grieves me because, as you Larrivee guys know, this is a stunning guitar in every way. Beautifully set up. Basically brand new. $800 shipped to the 48 states only. Paypal only. No trades. OHSC. Best to call for pics 203 226 0163. Fast response email jbdpics@mac.com

Welcome to the forum.  If you play the stuffing out of the L-03 you will soon hear an amazing guitar that should help you forget the scale-length.  Otherwise, good luck with the sale.
Play it daily for best results.

I agree with the Prof.  Unless you mean true short scale like 24" and under,  give your hands a bit more time
if you like the sound and playability otherwise.

I play 25.5" Larrivees and my 24.8" Seagull with no real differences in feel.

For curiosity I just measured the distance from the nut to the 3rd fret on my L -03 and my Seagull
L = 4"
S = 3.9"  or 3 29/32"
Just a bit over 1/16" difference in reach

If you are playing an open C chord, the reach from 1st fret to 3rd is 2  1/8" on my L, and only 1/16" shorter on my Seagull.

Just thinking out loud here.  I have been gassing for a 'short scale' Martin 24.9" cuz in my head it would be more comfortable with my smallish hands and thumb over the top style I play.  But in reality there is very little difference and I really love the Larrivee sound.

You may regret letting your Larrivee go if you dont give it a bit more time to grow on you.
Good luck either way.
