Howdy all...
Over christmas I came across an old DeArmond 210 from my uncles old guitar...its a little grungy and looks like the the cord is dryrotted and will need to be replaced but I would love to get it back up and running. can anyone point me toward info on restoring these babies? I think it would be a great option for me as I play mostly acoustic blues.
Thanks!

First put an ohm meter on it and see if you get a reading,if its still good it will read 4-6 ohms.If its dead contact Lindy Fralin my personal favorite pickup maker and he does a fine job doing rewinds.Don't know if he can do an old DeArmond but in my book he's the best.

Great....thanks Rob...I was hoping you would chime in.  I'll give it a test run and then decide what to do.  Whoat do you think it would cost to have this rewound if I have to go that route?

Thanks

Don't quote me but I think a rewind from Fralin is $100 but I'm not sure.Let me know if I can be of any help.
