Damn, Tuffy, that's a powerful lot of ugly in one pic. However, I can't let ya distract me, I'm huntin' thread killers! In all actuality, I'm the song killer today. I've been hooked on learing country tunes the last few days and I've been butchering All My Rowdy Friends Have Settled Down, Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound, and since this morning, It Won't Hurt. If I keep it up, the maintenance guys working on the apartment next store just might kill me!

That picture is class Tuffy.  I like the way the one on the right looks like a significant part of his head/face has melted/burst down the front of his shirt and he really hasn't noticed.

They look like they could stop most things in their tracks,......... except the plague perhaps.

Those two had the same look on their faces at our last family picnic (from my wife's side of the family).

I love to play "Whiskey Bent And Hell Bound" too.  That's one of the few country tunes I do.  Occassionally I'll get wound up and play "Your Cheatin' Heart" ...   I guess I cover both father and son with those two.

I'm not sure if they're brothers or not, although they do look a lot a like. But I'm sure the one one the left got some satisfaction from being the good looking one and letting his brother know it..

  Scott, I have posted last on more threads than you for sure. Just because I post so much for one thing. But as Matt said sometimes we just say too much and everyone loses interest.

So I wander into this little jazz bar and there's a quartet playing on the stage. What strikes me immediately is the amazing dexterity and prowess so evident as I watch hands literally flying over the instruments.
As my eyes adjust to the light I realize that there are actually five players, the fifth being a second Upright Bassist. I hadn't noticed him at first as he was like a pillar of peace in back of the frenzy, playing only a single note every two or three bars.
Later, I get to meet that second Bassist and I ask him about the musical arrangement with him just playing every now and then.
"I'm just playing the notes the other guys is lookin' for"

Hey, if this is about "braggin' rights", two days ago I started and ended a topic with one post.  Check out "Mondlock Workshop".  I guess no one's into phenominal (IMHO) songwriting, and I did say phenominal!  His song "The Kid" is a masterpiece in my book.  Out of principal I am not going to reply to my own original post.  If you care at all about songwriting as an art form put a little effort in and research Mondlock on your own.  Is this a shameless attempt on my part to generate interest in a roundabout way?  You know it is, but who really benefits?  You do.
