I just had to celebrate my recent acquisitions with a little musical experiment.

A classic song from the late 1930s - recorded on my Larrivée OM-03RE, my Tanglewood acoustic bass guitar, and the two matching instruments made for me by my great friend and talented musician and luthier, Ian Chisholm: a tenor guitar and a mandolin. So this is a multi-tracked mixdown with a couple of harmony vocals - a sort of tribute to wonderful artists like the Delmore Brothers, the Carter Family, etc.

You Are My Sunshine

Cheers,

Will

That was really fun, nice you did a version of this. It does kind of have that Carter family type sound, really enjoyed it.

What, you running for office now that you're retired? That song carried Jimmy Davis to 4 Governorships. Might work for you.
Fun, Harmony has old time feel.
10-1614 more than a number, it's body and soul.
