Every so often there's a debate here about keeping your guitar on a stand, or in the case.  Seems you answered that one.

Here's the thing, my guitars are always in their cases unless I'm playing them. Read 60 pound dog who is too overzealous about everything.

I tend to keep my guitars on the pristine side, but when I'm going out to play with friends, I usually take my best (read my current favourite) guitar, which gets passed around and played by one and all.  I agree that there's no point in having them if they don't get played...

I sweat all over my guitars and don't care, I think it help break them in quicker, but I hate when a accidentally smash it into anything. Normally happens when I recording and I'm in a tight space with headphones on. Chit drives me nutz!
