Excellent MP3's thanks for sharing.  The guitars sound great and some talented players.  Who is playing and singing in the 2nd MP3..the Clapton song?  Impressive

The song "Before You accuse me" is Dave I believe.  He is playing a Cargo  composite / graphite body guitar. believe it or not.   Sounded good.    ST played it awhile and it sounded very, very good.

Hey, that's me hacking through the "Fly Me To The Moon" chords, I think on Tuffy's all-hog F3 in the first sample. You can thank me later for not singing.

Mike

Unfortunately, the Edirol was just laying on the coffee table in the middle of the room, and the first set of batteries died and I changed them as soon as I noticed. Of course the special case and stand I ordered for it came Monday, so I got it as soon as I got home.

Fun evening - and some great guitars and players - Wish y'all weren't so far away!

Tad
Bunch of Larrivees - all good -
and a wife that still puts up with me, which is the best -

It was great to listen to the sound clips, thanks Tad - pretty decent sound quality too.  Some nice playing and singing in there, mixed in with what sounded like some good banter!

Tad has put 5 short video files on my ftp site that people can look at. They are of a FIII guitar being strung up, tuned and setup.

Using Quicktime over the default Windows player allowed me to double the size. A couple of them are 90degrees rotated and I don't have the tools to make them upright. If someone has video tools that they can use on them, please fix this and I'll give you instructions to send them back to my web site.

Well, it's me croaking thru the words, but it's ST playing lead on that. I was playing the Cargo on that.

Mike I had missed most of what y'all were playing while in the other rooms. I just wanted to say that it was fun to listen to what I had missed and it sounds like the players were very much "in tune" with one another and having a great time.
             d. also played my F-III in the kitchen using thumb and finger picks I believe. I fully enjoyed hearing my F-III ringing out with his playing style. Too bad that was not recorded as well.

Dave, I wish the frogs in front of the house croaked as well as you sounded in those recordings.  Wow, that was fun listening to...you can sure tell everyone was excited with all the constant chatter.

Yup, they work now. The middle one is Jim Holler practicing "Romance" I believe.
They sound so good, even just as they are strung up!

Yes Danny indeed that is me " practicing" in the back ground. And.... in the first clip I am the guy with the light blue shirt walking into the room and finding my guitar for the first time with strings!

Thanks, Matt. I appreciate that.

It was fun listening to those. Everyone was having a great time.

Here are a few close ups. I was asked to take some, I don't take good pics but I'll try again later.
The labels were hand numbered by John. 1/78 is the way it was done.
