For Sale: Larrivee Model L-03MT all mahogany guitar.  Excellent condition, and comes with hardshell case.  K&K Under-saddle pickup is installed.  Very nice guitar, I am selling since I got the Forum III.  There are 2 cosmetic dings in the binding on the backside of the guitar (pictured).  The grain of the mahogany on this guitar is absolutely gorgeous.  SOLD shipped to CONUSA will accept PayPal.

Hello,
I am looking for an L-03 or an OM-3, but the catch is that I need a left hand guitar.   I do not see a pick guard on your guitar.  Can I change the bridge and nut on it??   Thanks,  Tony :nice guitar: :nana_guitar

You are correct no pick guard-  I am not a luthier so I will have to ask other who may know-- just looking at it, it seems like it would work- but I do not know

It would need a new nut and, new bridge and a new saddle. The bridge saddle slot could be filled and re-cut, a very tricky process. If you could find some one to do the conversion the cost would be several hundred dollars +

Tony-  per your question on changing out the system to right hand

Just checking--- is it just a bad time to sale right now, or is there just not much interests in a nice all mahogany guitar.  This guitar needs to be in a family that will play it- I rarely do-- the guitar deserves better.

Yeah, I think it's just a slow time for sales.  If this was up for sale before I bought my parlor in Feb, it would've had me seriously interested.  Best of luck!

continental US, eh? would you at all be interested in the possibility of shipping to Vancouver, BC?
Thank you

Yes- if you would be willing to the shipping difference.  I will be glad to get that price if you would like for me to.  If so do you have a prefernce in shipping method?

Yeah I can do the difference on the shipping no problem. I am not one hundred percent sure I can afford it (subject to me finding out something today), but will let you know.
If I can afford it: I have never shipped anything like a guitar before, so basically whatever is the safest, insured etc... but not necessarily the fastest (or the slowest). I have seen some guitars get destroyed on airplanes though! So maybe UPS? Let me know what you think the difference will be for fedex or UPS type thing if you could.

Or if anyone has a suggestion or good experience with US-Canada ground shipping, please share.
Thanks a lot.

I would use UPS then.  I will go by there tomorrow and get a price if you want

nbergman- I sent you an email on shipping quotes

I am bumping this because I cannot believe this beauty is still waiting for a new player.  A real-mahogany top L, with pu, at this price? I'm tempted even with the other hog tops I have! Now I officially believe the economy stinks -

Bunch of Larrivees - all good -
and a wife that still puts up with me, which is the best -

I contacted Larrivee to get additional information on my guitar ; attached is the response.

Thank you for your inquiry. Your guitar was started on 6/14/04 and completed on 7/23/04. The -03 in the number refers to the Series the guitar is in.. i.e. your model is an L-03MT so its serial is -03. The guitar was built at the shop on Cordova Street in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Just checking in- I have the FIII coming soon (I hope) and I need to make room

update with a for trade option.  Tough  time to sale, but may be a good opportunity for trading.  I really like the shape and size of the OM-03R if anyone is wanting to change to a all mahogany L03MT series.

Still looking for a loving home
