Valentine - OM40

Today, my OO-09 has a new sibling.

I brought home the OM40 from the local store.

My wife Beth's Valentine gift-ar for me.

Gift-ar u kidding me? At the rate you acquire guitars, you're going to have to put an addition on your house or else move to a bigger one in a month or two.

I spoke at a Valentine's party; got invited by some church in the city. Posh setting. Formal. Suit and tie. Great dinner.

Beth requested me to play my new OM40; she was really irritated that I "appeared to be more concerned about buying this guitar today - last day of the sale"

than preparing for the speaking engagement.

I went home playing the new-to-me song I learned this past week; she's really concerned now;

I just played the git and sang my heart out.

Long story short, she asked me to play my new OM40 and led the crowd of 80-100 persons in singing.

Sweet !!! The OM40 got its debut appearance in a public setting; it's my intention to make this my "go to" guitar.

The OO will now be played at home mostly; and when travelling.

OM40 shall be my workhorse.

Yes!!!

as you know, my body is sometimes on Euro Time Zone when most of North America is asleep.

I tried my best to play with the lighting... with only my reading lamp & my beat up instamatic digital cam - flash off.

We'll have to make do with these... hope you enjoy them just the same.

Seriously, that is really nice. The top looks lovely for what is supposedly an 03 level of wood quality.

What do you make of the satin finish, is this your first satin guitar?

I've been looking forward to the pics because its a model i haven't seen before, and one that really appeals.
