I'm still regretting not getting one of those at the time, so I did not appreciate seeing that this morning!

Is it my computer sound out of the laptop speakers, or is David Martin regularly out of tune in his demo playing?

The koa binding is a very nice touch, but the tuners look out of place...  All in all, why pay that price for a fancy 03 when a used, but still mint, high end L can be had at the Fret for a couple of hundred less?:

I agree with you Ducktrapper, I had to put a set of the same Delta tuners on my LV-03RE when I first saw those last year.  I think they make the guitar very interesting, but heavier.  Love this version of the LV-03R, but mine is now two years old, and has opened up very nicely.

   That is a very nice looking LV-03R.  I like the whole package, just can't play one that large anymore for very long.
I had a used, mint LV-03R that only cost me 625 or 650 I think. Best buy yet for me in a Larrivee.

If this had gloss finish, it would be gone.

At that price in satin? Hmmmmm.

Beautiful looking git for sure. I like the tight grain of the spruce.  And oh, Larrivee makes perfect, yes perfect-looking backs; some would think it's a 1-piece back.

indeed they are. They give it a very clean look.
I'm in the market for a new set of tuners and i was leaning towards the wood buttons but after seeing that, i may be able to be talked into the gold ones. Beautiful!!

I put chrome deltas on my D05 and they are beautiful and functional. I wouldn't recommend 21:1 ratio tuners to anyone who uses a lot of alt tunings, though.

Well, sometimes they probably would like us to "Vanish". Guitar forums are a mixed bag for dealers and builders. I don't mean to be too serious here.     Danny

Yeah, that's probably fair comment.  I think people are on the whole pretty honest here, so if they want us to vanish, they probably aren't providing a good enough quality service.  But I suppose customer service vs making cash is a tightrope to those who don't have an established 'name' like the frequesntly mentioned sellers on here.

Not me. I'm kind of flush with guitars right now. I don't have an acoustic with a cutaway though.  :smile:
