Although I had what I thought were a lot of good reasons for not ordering a Forum III guitar, If I had ordered one it would have been a IS top with IR back and sides with Herringbone Trim.

Coincidentely that is what is available.

Thats not coincidence.  That's fate.
1991 Larrivee lefty C19        Forum 3 #68A LS03 IS/RW HB lefty
Form 3 #52  LS03 all mahogany lefty
Yamaha FG450                    1993 Les Paul Standard lefty
Yamaha FG335                    2012 American Standard Stratocaster
Fender Classical (1974?)      2011 RS-2 w/P-90's
Takamine 12 string

I just read that I was targeted in the original post about the extra lefty. It is tempting. I kind of feel I traded up the D03R plus cash for the 90s D-50R instead; I'm primarily a dread guy. Still....if I could sell my L-03RE, I'd definitely be interested. But I think the forum guitar has steered a lot of lefties toward smaller bodies than the L. But as great as it sounds, and no doubt looks, I couldn't possibly order that one without first selling the L.
Appreciate the thought.
I suspect that over time and continued acquisitions, there might be one available left-handed. I do wish I'd been able to make the trip, though.

I've had GAS for years, but as far as enabling, it might be true about Lynn. But one thing in his defense, he seems to hand onto the guitars he buys. How the heck do you do it? Do you own oil in Texas near the Bush ranch or something? Don't want to get into politics, please?

Creative financing, and dumb luck is the key to my guitar acquisitions.   I bought the L-10 off of Bhika after a lucky streak in Vegas.   I've sold a Martin D-15, a Gibson Hummingbird, an Epiphone Emperor, A Schecter C-SH-1, An Alvarez, and an Epiphone SG in order to buy the other 3 Larrivees I have.  I don't own any oil rigs or much of anything else except my home.   I'm just a working stiff who likes nice guitars.  I've been buying, trading and selling them for almost 20 years and I've finally reached a point where I think I can just keep these and enjoy them.

Hey, i just realized I'm approaching post number 2,000........   I better start planning something special to post for that milestone. :bgrin:

Lynn, I just realized I had reached just over 250 posts. Not quite as exciting or as big in #'s as you, but a tiny step towards something. I'll keep an eye on you & throw you a nice doggie treat to celebrate. Too bad it can't be a guitar! :cheers
